Darling Nights

Darling Nights - I think the colours are the best thing about this

shot. I'm thinking of taking some of the black sky out of the

middle to give it a more wide angle feel. Also not too sure about

leaving the moon in... What do you think???

Ignoring the unhelpful base comments of the last person who critiqued you, I will constructively say that the picture has good exposure though compositionally the photo is too centered. Try cropping the bottom or top to follow the rule of thirds. Also I would have shot this photo ealier in the evening to get some detail and colour into the sky as the sun was going down. Great effort though!

nick as i said to you the other night the picture is generally appealing and the colours are the nicest element i feel, the comment i made about cropping more of the sky out to remove the big chunk of black would possibly improve composition, though you may lose the moon. Rich's comments about shooting at dusk so there is still a little colour in the sky could dramatically change the mood of the image.

i dont know why some people try to turn these critique forums into some form and pathetic internet blog where people dig at others repeatedly all day long. make your comments, then leave it, no one is here to have a go at you, well at least not most of us, if all you wanna do is keep checking back to see who reacted to your comments i would probably suggest a different website.

keep shooting nick you are improving at a steady rate, i wish i was spending as much time as you were on my pics!
