aeg 0 Posted March 30, 2007 Stunning image incredible lighting and detail ,love the hair and the crop. I am now moving in the direction of Portraiture and human intrest photography and I would appreciate some honest feedback on some of my portrait work. I have been shooting without flash for the most part but have discovered the flexiblity and strengths of off camera flash and have been spending my time studying different techniques with flash. I don't have much to show now, but, I will be adding more as I progress. I find your work to be top knotch and would appreciate any knowledge that you could pass on about technique or critique. Thank you for your comments on my sunset shot. Regards Anthony Link to comment

maria_di_liegro 0 Posted December 24, 2007 What a beautiful necklace! It looks great on this model, and I like the simplicity of a white background against her dark hair. This model has dramatic hair, defined eyes and a necklace that was meant to get our attention. My suggestion would be to make the mouth less dramatic in color (but not less defined), with a more neutral color closer to the model's own lip color, because the lips compete for attention. Don't get me wrong -- she's got beautiful lips, but I just don't think they contribute in this shade for this shot. One thing that does have to be fixed is this: the model's right eye is perfect. However, the left eye does not match it, in that the liner and shadow on the bottom left lid does not cover the length of the lid, as it does in the model's right eye. You can probably shop this in. You have many beautiful shots in your portfolio and you do a great job to enhance your models' femininity. So thanks, from a girlie-girl. Maria Link to comment
