mmene 0 Posted March 27, 2007 Excellent 3D feeling John. Perfect light, colors and synthesis. I like her hat very much. Link to comment
tammysphotos 0 Posted March 28, 2007 A most confident lady. Love it! You've created a wonderful environment for your models - the trust and intimacy - just amazing, John. Link to comment
glenwoodsherry 0 Posted March 28, 2007 John, Well, this is an interesting change of pace. She's flirty and a little naughty; she has stolen one of your cigarettes, and that hat that once belonged to your dad, and is striking an "Attitude" pose. But above all, she is confident and intelligent, and is not hesitant about taking you on, artistically, or intellectually. The perfect foil. The perfect muse. Very, very well done, in both shooting the model, and creating the setting. With regards, Glenwood Link to comment
vidisorin 0 Posted March 28, 2007 Besides her beeing so sexy/naughty with that cap and cigare....the blue tint does wonders again for your composition....although crowdy seems so ballanced... Best regards Sorin Link to comment

alecee 0 Posted March 31, 2007 All your models look so relax John. You sure have a special formula to make them receptive to your unique style of shooting. Makes it all look so easy doesn't it? ^_^ And I know it's not. Especially doing nudes. Bravo! Link to comment
alessandro.vasapolli 0 Posted May 28, 2008 Really John, I just looove the mood you recreate in these picture (I'm referring to the ones with this bluesh light mood)! I like the idea of the hat and the cigaret but I would have taken out of the scene the necklace that is present on the table, looks like a punch of colors to me. Do you use a combination of filters, both on lens and on light, to create this atmosphere, or is just post-processing?! I cannot understand how can you have the model's skin perfectly white-balanced along with everything else going to blue if not doing some masky/hue&saturation/games in PhotoShop. As always thanks for sharing! Alessandro Link to comment
John Peri 1,038 Posted May 28, 2008 Hy Alessandro, thanks for visiting. No, I don't use any filters, so I guess I just do a few adjustments afterwards ..but there is no special method, just change a few factors until it looks more or less right .. :-) Link to comment
