andrewg_ny 3 Posted March 26, 2007 I was struck by the 'little trees' effect...Took this from an open window after a late-winter/early spring snowstorm. The shadows were fading in and out as the clouds rolled over. Link to comment
caincaptures 0 Posted March 26, 2007 I love this shot. The shadows on the snow do look like trees... Link to comment
bartverlinde 0 Posted March 27, 2007 The composition and crop are very good, nice shadows, would like to see some more work from you. Link to comment
luke.free 0 Posted March 28, 2007 nice light, maybe you should try b&w version with higher contrast Link to comment
musings 0 Posted September 10, 2008 The sedum plants do look like a Lilliputian forest. The shadow effects and sporadic light elevate the interest and intrigue of the shot. You may want to toggle the RAW settings just a *wee* bit to get the tops of the center sedum to stand out a bit more. Overall, really nice photo...I like this quite a bit. Link to comment
stemked 4 Posted August 23, 2010 Hi Andrew. I really like this image too. I had to do a double take to figure what I was actually seeing-I like shots like that. Link to comment
JohnMWright 1 Posted September 17, 2010 This is fantastic. Nice simple composition. The shadows, lines, and varying tones on the snow work well together. Link to comment
Stock-Photos 1 Posted May 4, 2011 Good eye for seeing this. It looks like an aerial photo of large trees. Link to comment
AlanKlein 2,917 Posted May 30, 2011 Andrew: I thought they were trees until I read more. Thought you were in a plane or something. Very clever. Great illuison and nice composition. Alan Link to comment
pdmc 0 Posted July 4, 2011 Andrew,Great shot - what struck me was the leaning of the taller group towards the isolated shorter. Creates a feeling of a youth separated from the caring (or lecturing) elders of a community.Peter Link to comment
