iancoxleigh 0 Posted March 26, 2007 Reworked as per previous comments. I moved the mid point and black point around a little to increase the contrast a bit. Link to comment
bluelotus 0 Posted April 13, 2007 Hey Ian, This is one of my favs from your gallery! Love the lonely, but romantic mood, and the play with the depth of field. The off-centre composition really makes it interesting, and the contrast of textures is beautiful! Link to comment
lucyhollis 2 Posted May 18, 2007 This one really caught my attention. The minimal colour and background adds drama, and the slight hint of a snaking body gives the appearance of a one eyed monster! Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted June 14, 2007 Ian. This is perfect. Original. Breathtaking. Just stunning... I can't say much more than that....and... they won't let me give you 7/7 :( I'll come back to try again. Link to comment
iancoxleigh 0 Posted March 14, 2008 Rachel, and everyone else I should have thanked ages ago, thank you very much. This is one image I wish held together a bit better larger. The very, very shallow DOF seems to be more enervating the large I print this. I still like it though, and it started me down a path in my photography that has been productive and rewarding. I just wish I could go back in time and correct a few technical issues here. Thank you very much Rachel for commenting on this. It had been a long time since I stopped and looked at this and it has been nice to look back a bit. In fact, I have had in my mind, as of late, to do some further florals with light, OOF backgrounds in square frames. Link to comment
