I like this photo very much. The color and light are both very nice. And you have captured his expression which is critical to the success of the portrait. I was wondering if it could improve the photo by adding more light to his facial part and darkening the guitar and the hands in post processing.

Hey Tony, thanks. His face looks a bit too red so I think it would help. Not sure about the hands though. I'm not too good at graphics programs actually ... I only adjusted the brightness of the image.

I like the photo as it is, if you change the color it can look unnatural, its evening light, and than things just look different. (wish my english was better, in dutch i can give more understandable critique :)

Hey Ellen, thanks - your English is fine, I know what you mean :) ... but I also know if I do the changing it won't look good but someone good at PS might be able to do it.

Very natural, very good lighting on stage and you control well exposure. Regards.
