Gotta question for you... Most of your work is with the Sigma 180?? I take it you like it.... I need to replace a stolen lens and trying to decide on a macro.

Hey Dennis, the 180 sigma is a very sharp lens so I would recommend it. I also shoot a Tamron 180 that has a shallower DOF than the Sigma which is nice for soft focus abstracts.

I have to ask though... how can two lenses of the same focal length at the same aperture have different DOF? Unless one is an IF lens and the other not, in which case the focal lengths are not the same, I don't see how this could happen. The Tamron and Sigma are both f/3.5 right?
