Ribbon of Red

Hi Henry.

I have spent many hours on the red rocks in your picture, thanks for sharing.

As far as a critique goes.... I dont see much of a story in this image, what feeling were you trying to invoke in this shot? Maybe a larger version would show more detail than I can see here, but (as is) this shot is "average" at best.

Lee, this was my first trip to Red Rock, and new to photography. Being from dull Cleveland when I arrived at Red Rock I was over taken by nature's beauty. I lost all awareness of what I had planned to do. I found myself being a tourist(puke) with a camera. Las Vegas is a favorite destination and I plan on returning for another try at capturing Red Rock Canyon.
