ShunCheung 9,094 Posted April 12, 2007 This is a decent shot with good light that captures a certain moment, but the subject is not that special. I wish the left front (US driver side) of the truck were not in the shades. Link to comment

testy 0 Posted April 13, 2007 Testy McTesterson, is a test user for photo.net's Director ofCommunity Josh Root to view the site as a non-administrative user. This is the sample photo that I (Josh) am using to create morespecific instructions for photo.net features. Please give it some sortof rating and comment. I am looking to get a smattering of variousratings (both anonymous and visible) so that the "info" of the photowill look more like what the average user would see on his/her own photos. Thanks, Josh Link to comment
jan_piller 0 Posted April 13, 2007 The composition needs some improvement. I would start by perhaps putting the truck in the garage - that would also eliminate the harsh shadows on the wall. Link to comment
dyowell 0 Posted April 13, 2007 Well...it isn't going to be easy to get the truck in the garage when it is pointed in this direction. I'd turn it 90 degrees in either direction. That would give you a nice broadside view of the truck, as well. As I recall, '78's looked pretty good from the side. Link to comment
ctgorczyca 0 Posted April 13, 2007 Agree with Jan...I also see you getting the anonymus 3's with no remarks as to why. In your instructions advise people to give a reason so we all could improve. Giving 3's with no reason does not help anyone and just fustrates the person entering the photo. Link to comment
pata 0 Posted April 29, 2008 I remember something like this vehicle from another life....I think I was working for a country/outlaw musician that eventually traded this truck in for a Mercedes and then for a diesel bus that now runs on vegetable oil. Otherwise, not enhancing the subject by removing the snow from it's hood seems sorta lazy. The shadows tell another story though. Pat Link to comment
