allen_r1 0 Posted March 19, 2007 I like the mood set by this photo. There is also a "real" quality to it I like. You can almost feel her pensiveness as if you are there with her. Technically, I'm not sure how I feel about the yellowish tint. It looks like it might make a good BW photograph. Finally, (and this is VERY minor), you might want to crop out the edge of the left side-to take out what appears to be another lamp. It doesn't bother me but I suspect some will find it distracting. jonathonk10d 0 Posted March 19, 2007 Man, I am so jealous! Was this from your 35mm? I didn't know you were able to get in there when she was at that location. Great shot though, I love the lighting and the tone. The DOF is good also, I would agree with the previous poster in the slight crop on the left side. Link to comment
amnesia 0 Posted March 20, 2007 I did shoot this with the 35mm Canon AE-1. I like the idea of cropping out the lamp on the far left side. However, I really like the yello tint as opposed to black and white though both are valid. Thanks for the ideas! Link to comment
jonathonk10d 0 Posted March 20, 2007 I agree with you on the color. Her red hair and the yellow tent would be lost if it were B&W. I don't know about B&W but color looks fantastic, Again, great job! Link to comment
ned1 0 Posted March 22, 2007 We feel that there is no replacement for film, which I assume this was. Link to comment
