rob_le_blanc1 0 Posted May 8, 2002 This was a grab shot as I was a guest at the wedding. I then did the digital manipulation in Adobe Photoshop Elements. What do you think? Link to comment
rick vincent 1 Posted May 8, 2002 I like the strong contrast image, however the whites are a little blown out. A good wedding photo. Link to comment
jillmyers 0 Posted May 8, 2002 It's a nice candid shot, but I don't think the color is needed. It distracts away from what the image is really about...the couple. Link to comment
alex macphee 0 Posted May 11, 2002 I particularly like the strong composition on the X diagnonals. B&W works so well in this kind of shot, that I think the colour centre should be reconsidered. Link to comment
mike_sea 0 Posted May 28, 2002 Like the candid shots - very well captured. I think you have made a misteake by leaving the flowers in colour. That takes from the real focus of the image. For my money, the focus is that gaze between two people deeply in love. Maybe you should leave their heads in colour, tongue in cheek. Their glow is enough to brighten the focus. Mike Sea The low mark for originality is because of the focus being made on the flowers. Link to comment
mark_l 0 Posted May 29, 2002 The photo is fairly good, but the addition of the selective color does not (in my opinion) add to the value of the photo. It seems to detract from the portrait, and make it more an example of Photoshopping. Perhaps a more muted toning of the flowers would have helped it turn out less forced. I like the bride's facial expression however...very nice! Link to comment
