Personally, I would prefer a more creamy, out of focus background, but that means a shallower DOF, and that often leads to the subject itself not entirely in focus. I often prefer a less distracting background, even at the expense of getting 100% sharpness on the main subject. Link to comment
gaetanchevalier 5 Posted August 21, 2008 Thank you for your very nice critique Michael. I agree with you that a nice bokeh add a lot to the beauty of a photo. But it is generally more difficult to get a nice blur with a Olympus camera because the sensor is smaller. I had not a macro lens to get this picture. Link to comment
