iancoxleigh 0 Posted March 19, 2007 Dime a dozen, I know. But, I like it. All C/C welcome. The title comes from the fact that I took this (and a few similar images) very shortly after seeing an exhibition of artwork by Marie Lannoo which included some of her many-layered acrylic paintings of floating circles (water-lily like). The photo reminds me of some of her work -- and certainly was inspired by it. But, it is a pale reflection, devoid of the great skill and compositional balance of her works. Link to comment
gordonjb 10,860 Posted August 7, 2007 Wonderful colours and a nice feel to this one. I would clone out the couple of dust spots on your sensor. Well done and to me, not at all "dime a dozen " Link to comment
iancoxleigh 0 Posted August 7, 2007 Thank you all for your words. Gordon, I will upload a new file shortly (I'm not at home at the moment). I have a corrected copy where I cloned out the small spots -- but, at the time I first posted this, I didn't know how to replace the posted file with a new one. Link to comment

bretsch 0 Posted January 23, 2009 Spectacular image Ian, one of the best uses of bokeh, as artistic tool, that I’ve seen. Congratulations! Link to comment
iancoxleigh 0 Posted February 9, 2009 Thank you Juan Carlos. This is now quite an old shot to me. But, it still works in my mind and I am glad you feel it does too. Link to comment
