Dime a dozen, I know. But, I like it. All C/C welcome.

The title comes from the fact that I took this (and a few similar

images) very shortly after seeing an exhibition of artwork by Marie

Lannoo which included some of her many-layered acrylic paintings of

floating circles (water-lily like). The photo reminds me of some of

her work -- and certainly was inspired by it. But, it is a pale

reflection, devoid of the great skill and compositional balance of her

works.

Wonderful colours and a nice feel to this one. I would clone out the couple of dust spots on your sensor. Well done and to me, not at all "dime a dozen "

Thank you all for your words. Gordon, I will upload a new file shortly (I'm not at home at the moment). I have a corrected copy where I cloned out the small spots -- but, at the time I first posted this, I didn't know how to replace the posted file with a new one.

Spectacular image Ian, one of the best uses of bokeh, as artistic tool, that I’ve seen. Congratulations!

Thank you Juan Carlos.

This is now quite an old shot to me. But, it still works in my mind and I am glad you feel it does too.
