Fishermang 0 Posted March 14, 2007 I love the sharpness in your photos! Another great coastal shot. Beautiful sunset, well done on the rays of sun - they go well along with the incoming water/waves. The detail of the splash on the foreground is a great element that adds to the beauty and interest of the foreground. Good capture of the colourful reflection as well. Very good! Link to comment

laurentbaig 0 Posted March 14, 2007 Excellent composition. I like how the channel of water from bottom right leads right t the splashing water and then the sun. Well done. Link to comment
will king 0 Posted March 15, 2007 The 3/3 hits again. It's almost starting to get funny. Great shot Kah. Starting to resemble Adamus. Link to comment
kahkityoong 0 Posted March 15, 2007 A glorious dawn at Cathedral Rock, one of the lesser lights of the Great Ocean Road but a great subject for my series. Specifications : 4 stop reverse ND grad, Gitzo tripod, f22, shutter 0.5 seconds, ISO 100. Link to comment

robvine 0 Posted March 15, 2007 Another great shot, of particular appear is the subtle way the sun lights the rock in the foreground, highlighting the detail in there. Link to comment
kahkityoong 0 Posted March 15, 2007 Thank you for your comments. I spent several visits in this large area of rock platforms to work the compositions & learn the light. I was glad to get such a sunrise and also have an opportunity to use my new 4 stop reverse ND grad. Will, I noticed the 3/3 too but it has magically disappeared. Marc Adamus was a great inspiration for me & his work had a great impact on my interest in landscapes. Link to comment
