vancouverphotographer 1 Posted March 10, 2007 What do you guys think of this one? Thanks for checking it out. Link to comment
tomin8r 0 Posted March 10, 2007 Focusing these kinds of shots is always tricky. You managed to keep your main subject in excellent sharp focus despite a shallow depth of field. Colours are very vibrant. Nice composition. 6/6. Link to comment
vancouverphotographer 1 Posted March 10, 2007 Thanks Thomas. I agree with you, focus was very difficult and it seems my 100mm macro was particularly slow with locking focus. Link to comment
mmene 0 Posted March 10, 2007 Excellent colorful capture with very nice synthesis. Bravo. Link to comment

JohnMWright 1 Posted May 9, 2007 Amazing coloration on this bird, I've never seen one like this. The starlings in my area are brownish/blackish, very monochromatic. Nice capture. Link to comment
vancouverphotographer 1 Posted May 10, 2007 Thanks John, this one is not indigenuous to Vancouver, I had to shoot this guy inside a conservatory. Our starlings here only look good when the sun hits their features just right. Link to comment
