Nothing is perfect is this world - but this picture and this bird almost are. Wonderful.

Good color on this one. If I may suggest any thing, it would be to clone the dust spots (from your CCD) out. One thing you have to get use to with DSLRs is that dust loves the CCD, especially when the camera is on and the lens is off.

thankyou for your comments .. :) You are absolutely correct Dennis except for one thing (which after you mentioning it I had to have a closer look at) The white mark on his head is just that and the black dot is a bit of lichen falling away from the tree. Thankyou for mentioning it though ... I checked a few pictures before taking that and also after .. It is clear of any marks :) (panic set in for a while there) :)

The colours of the bird are great & adding the soft warm muted colours of the backgroung add up to a very pleasing image.Regards-Ross
