There's something about the way the clouds hang there, with the trees waiting breathlessly...

 

I'd only say you are lucky to get that cloud.

No cropping necessary here, I should say. The lines beautifully converge on that point in the distance: the church. And... of course the photographer was lucky to ctach the cloud as it was. But it would surprise me to find out that it was the first time he went to this scene. Success is just 10-20% luck, the rest is BS&T, and in the case of this remarkable photographer: inspiration.

The dramatic sky and clam water really give mixed feelings. I could keep staring and not get bored of this one :)

Absolutely Beautiful Image. The line of trimmed treetops leads you out of the frame and the reflection of the same treetops leads you back in. The composition is perfect. In addition rich colors and a turbulent sky add to the mood. Well done.
