snapshooter 0 Posted March 11, 2007 Theoretically and compositionally, the cyclist should be positioned well left of center, for the direction of travel,Kaushik. However, this is definitely an instance where the impact would be somewhat reduced. This placement seems to show a sense of motion and urgency, and there are no distracting influences to affect that. The uncluttered tranquil scene is perfect for it. Excellent presentation. Link to comment

paula grenside 0 Posted March 14, 2007 Excellent shot in B&W. It seems he is riding toward the light. Great light, in fact, in this image. Link to comment
sideris 0 Posted March 18, 2007 OK Kaushik, here is my opinion (a brief statement indeed) This is ART in the widest and deepest sense of the word. A conceptual image plenty of meanings where the emotional impact on the observer is largely beyond all the technical stuffs. Link to comment
marcobrivio 0 Posted March 18, 2007 Splendid image, great mood. A minor remark: the subject is in the center of the frame. I would have taken this shot a moment before, to keep the man on the left of the frame, strengthening the composition. Regards, Marco Link to comment

cc-etex 0 Posted March 19, 2007 Kaushik, Very nice work. I like the atmosphere and the effect of the light. As another viewer commented, placing the cyclist to the left might add some nice asymetry, but the piece is great as it is. Thanks for your comments, Charles. Link to comment
