Theoretically and compositionally, the cyclist should be positioned well left of center, for the direction of travel,Kaushik. However, this is definitely an instance where the impact would be somewhat reduced. This placement seems to show a sense of motion and urgency, and there are no distracting influences to affect that. The uncluttered tranquil scene is perfect for it. Excellent presentation.

Another marvelous, evocative image my friend. Simple and meaningful, great tonality and as all great photos do calls to mind a myriad of imaginative tales. Bravo, rek.

OK Kaushik, here is my opinion (a brief statement indeed) This is ART in the widest and deepest sense of the word. A conceptual image plenty of meanings where the emotional impact on the observer is largely beyond all the technical stuffs.

Splendid image, great mood.

A minor remark: the subject is in the center of the frame. I would have taken this shot a moment before, to keep the man on the left of the frame, strengthening the composition.

Marco

I agree with Martco Brivio here - otherwise a powerfull image, using very simple means to be moody and fascinating.

Kaushik,

Very nice work. I like the atmosphere and the effect of the light. As another viewer commented, placing the cyclist to the left might add some nice asymetry, but the piece is great as it is.

Thanks for your comments,

Charles.
