mothra 0 Posted April 30, 2002 A blizzard blows snow across a frozen road at sunset. Everything has a fine coating of ice, including the telephone line on the upper right. A rainbow (or in this case, a "snow bow") can be seen to the left of the sun. This is caused by light shining through the fine mist of snow in the air. It's cold. Very cold! Link to comment
hique 0 Posted April 30, 2002 Gorgeous picture. I didn't expect that much from a digital camera, but the tone range is sure very good. Link to comment
m_saga 0 Posted April 30, 2002 Very nice, the tonal range is great, so is the composition. Link to comment
dan_sheppard 0 Posted May 1, 2002 Nice shot. High impact lighting, cloud formations. Check out the little highlight in the snow on the road. I like this shot. Link to comment

bob stewart jacksonville 0 Posted May 16, 2002 I think this is a beautiful image. I really like the composition with the road as leading line through the photo. The sun seem just a little bit hot. Perhaps a one stop graduated nuetral density filter could have improved the tonality of the image. ( not only would it have darkened the sun a little, it would have allowed the shadowed areas to come up a bit.) Nonetheless as It is I think it is excellent. Link to comment
