sattler123 0 Posted March 4, 2007 This is a great picture and I appreciate it even more because here in the Soutwest in the US we could not see the eclipse at all. Very well done! Link to comment
petewelsh 0 Posted March 4, 2007 I don't know which planet the 3/3 guy came from .. he obviously hasn't tried something like this .. I tried and was very disappointed with my "red" moon shots.. It is harder to do than people think .. My Scoring reflects a mixture of aesthetics and score for technical achievement and also my disgust in the 3/3. ~Pete~ Link to comment
johannes_eriksson 0 Posted March 4, 2007 Peter--thanks for commenting. I had some problems with the exposure at total eclipse. The light is so faint that even at ISO 1600 it was not possible to get a fast enough exposure at f/5.6 I guess for a perfectly sharp image you need a much faster lens or some kind of tracking system. shadow-island 0 Posted March 4, 2007 I agree. This is well done and difficult. How anyone see's this as a 3 is beyond me. Great work. Link to comment
