My silhouette, my bike and camera

I have a pentax (non-digital camera)and decided to take some photos

while mountain biking. First time ever. The quality is not very

good as I have scanned the picture. What do you think for a first

shot?

Your shadow is the strength of this shot! Lovely tall and very (!) elegant. Congrats!

I agree with Olaf. You might consider cropping the bike and hills out altogether. They don't add to this image. I hope you had a good time shooting.

The shadow does need the space above. Cropping will "brake" the up-gowing line of it and desorientate the viewer. And.. we will miss the feeling of adventure. (I'm 62, so forgive me my joke..!) Olaf.

I love a lot your presence...no-presence in this shot (...like the other one,...my old trainers...), your taste for this particular manner of self-portraits gives to me a particular...seduction! I feel you are a very...intimate...person, not easy in drawing attention to yourself,...but! Yes, I think there is a...but! Ha...ha...ha!!!...Very nice shot!...Ciaomau!
