It's alive ? frozen Cackler goose

This poor Cackler goose was frozen to the bridge , His wing was frozen solid.

this poor cackler probibaly went up on the bridge to warm up it was

20 below 0 deg. he was wet and froze to the bridge

did he survive?

Unfortionatly I was with the DNR officer and He said it lost too much wieght and had a broken wing He said one of the water foul hunters had shot it and had too youthinize it , Sorry and sad to say but He took it home to make a wall mount out of it. Cackler canadian Geese are rare and no bigger than a Mallard duck and it just so happened the DNR officer was a water foul hunter as well ,and he has hunted his whole life and never shot one so he said it was His chace too have it Mounted ???
