Scanned slide that had badly deteriorated due to its age. It was almost entirely pink. After removing dust and scratches I brought the colors back by experimenting with various settings of levels and was amazed.

I took this slide around 1956. Due to its age it became badly

discolored; almost pink. I was ready to discard it but decided to scan

it with the Konica-Minolta Dimage Dual Scan II and then give it a

workover with Photoshop Elements 2, which came with my Canon 6MP

Digital Rebel. While I think that it is not quite what it originally

was, I believe the result is impressive and still presentable.
