william_griffin1 0 Posted March 1, 2007 Started photographing barns about a year ago and have become fasinated by all the different types and styles. I am finding out that barns are different in different parts of the country also. Link to comment
birteragland 1 Posted March 1, 2007 Beautiful shot,I also like doing your barns when I am over there. Its just a shame that so many of them are being torn down. Link to comment
karl.jahr 0 Posted March 1, 2007 Your picture would look even better, if you chose a wide landscape format. I created this. Link to comment
jlarson6130 0 Posted March 2, 2007 Great photo, yes a shame so many barns have been destroyed. Karls crop works well, but it is also nice seeing the land below the barn. That is also disappearing with the barns. Link to comment
tugdriver 0 Posted March 10, 2007 Thank you for selecting such a deserving subject. I love these pictures; and catching them in winter just adds to the deserted look of the landscape. Your talented eye makes something old and decrepit absolutely beautiful. By the way, southern PA and central/western Maryland have some beautiful (old) German Bank Barns... one of my favorite styles. kellyphillips 0 Posted September 20, 2007 Hey William, I was looking through your photos of barns and noticed that you are taking alot of these around KY. I live in South central KY around BG so I recognize the beauty you are capturing. Where abouts do you live in our fine state? Link to comment
