david_thrower 0 Posted March 1, 2007 Hi Everyone I took some portraits of 20+ employees in one day and tried to show them with a prop relating to their work as well as a portrait with no prop. The client liked the pics but I would welcome some feedback - I like this moody lighting and dark background but is it too out of date?. Link to comment
blowingsky 0 Posted March 1, 2007 Nice shot. Out of date? I don't think so, although it does look like a Corbis or Getty image (stock shot companies). Is that good or not good? Link to comment
jason j 1 Posted March 1, 2007 First, congratulations on making the client happy. Second, yes I see what you mean about this being a style popular in the recent past (70's?), but it was popular because it pleased people. So go ahead and mix old school with new school to creat your own school. I like this shot too, the model looks really excited about showing viewers what he is holding; whatever it is. Link to comment
michael comerford 0 Posted March 1, 2007 I rather like it. While it is a bit of a throwback, there is a significant modern element to it which provides an appropriate balance. I'd like to see the whole set now that I've seen this. Tonally this s quite welcoming and acceptable, and would generate enough interst to have the viewer read the corporate words that were attached I'm sure.Well Done.MC. Link to comment
