anish 0 Posted February 28, 2007 I couldn't resist shooting at this location, although it has been heavily photographed. Critiques welcome... Link to comment

tgood 0 Posted February 28, 2007 Over photographed?? Maybe, but this is the first one I've seen of this scene. I like this one a lot better than the other two you have of this. To me, the lighting is much better, in turn the colors are more terrific. Good Shot. Link to comment
gwendlyn702 0 Posted February 28, 2007 Nicely done! I especially like how you framed the mountains in the distant with the rock in the foreground. Great way to make a photograph even more interesting. Link to comment
billk 0 Posted February 28, 2007 Hi Anish, I believe I met you at this spot last week. You stepped on the other guys glasses:( Nice shot, I've looked at your gallery here and am very impressed, some great stuff there. I haven't processed the shots from this location yet, since I had better luck at Mono Lake and Death Valley and did those first. Was nice meeting you. Bill Link to comment
lalit 0 Posted March 1, 2007 In this shot apart from just the framing of the arch over the mountain in the nice lighting situation, I like the diagonal lines of the mountain ridges and their shadows, ultimately joining with the shadows of the arch, thus both sets of lines mimicking an arrow shape, all this is happening inside the arch itself. That's quite an imagination and its implementation in a wonderful way, leaving viewer with just a plain a memorable beauty. Link to comment
laurentbaig 0 Posted March 14, 2007 Maybe it is photographed. When I was there, about 10 other people showed up at the same time. Oh well. I like your comp here, I tried this with a wide angle and didn't care for the result. I don't think your framing could be any better. Well done. Link to comment
