there is a tension here between the mood given by the quality of light and graininess and the action in the shot. almost like some kind of post-end-of-the-world recreation.

Tremendous work! Such an apparently ordinary beach scene transformed by means of great composition, light and post production into an amazingly moody photo. Somehow all the turmoil and busyness makes a coherent whole with the guy sitting at the centre acting as an anchor. Congrats and regards, Alex

Excellent image...you really took a familiar shot (sunny day at a crowded beach) and really found a new way to explore the subject...turned it into an unfamiliar beautiful surreal (dark and a bit creepy?) image. Very impressed.

off the charts stunning. this opened up when I clicked on the image, and I sat here looking at it for what felt like an eternity.

 

so gripping, so full of shapes, and depth. a classic, timeless image that I hope you're very proud of.

This one is so powerful I felt like I was seeing something like an atom bomb going off! It just keeps me staring at it, even though I don't think it brings me a good feeling. This is the MOST distinct photo I've ever seen.
