Rose scanned with Visioneer One Touch 9320 flatbed scanner.

A few days ago I saw an exhibition in the National History Museum (Washington, DC) by Robert Creamer who uses a flatbed scanner to take spectacular pictures of flowers, placed directly on the scanner. I tried this and this picture is the result. It has only been minimally processed by cropping it to square format and by increasing contrast about 20%.

I placed the rose directly on a Visioneer One Touch 9320 USB flatbed

scanner and got this picture and think the result is quite

interesting. Only minimal postprocessing with Photoshop Elements 2

(cropped to square, increased contrast 20%)
