I spent a sunny day two years ago,in Oakland, taking pictures of all

sorts of mundane urban objects, guardrails, signs, curb stones,

crosswalks...

I like to have a certain number of images that may not stand alone,

but can be worked into a piece later, where they provide the line or

shape or texture that I need. This is a left brain process.I put one

image up on the screen, and then, if my left brain is working that

day, it triggers an idea of something like that guardrail I could use

to complete or enhance the image. The beauty of PhotoShop is that the

period between hatching the idea and its execution is short. Thank

you for your critques, comments and suggestions

The colors are all in line and it is abstract and all the lines match up! I think it is pleasing to the eye in every way. Are you ready for my HOWEVER.

I actually like your stuff that is way over the top better. This is more like everyone elses stuff. i like your stuff that is WAY OUT THERE! Truthfully this is 7/7 stuff REALLY REALLY GOOD... but someone told me once I'm giving you a lower mark because you can do better. WOW... I see you going even farther than this! Silly isn't it! After seing that first piece with the hand rail's that looked like ivy and the glass I have never seen anything like it. YOU are amazing and this here is just the start of something. I see your stuff in a museum and some day being sold for HIGH prices. Don't start doing the NORM. Keep doing the WILD stuff! YEAH! Pull out those BLUE fruit ~ ha ~ ignore those 3's and WOW them! I am so impressed with everything!

That being said... I still absolutely LOVE and ADORE THIS! :) ~ micki
