Guest Guest Posted February 25, 2007 I think this a great conception for a wedding photo. The cross of the window trim and the cross she creates with her body and arms is wonderful against the softness and motion of the curtains and her veil. It is a very poetic wedding photo, unique and one that I hope the bride is pleased to have. It will last. Link to comment

anthonyd 0 Posted February 27, 2007 I agree that this is a nice shot. But I would consider cropping it just a bit so that the window cross is not upside-down. With Respect, Anthony Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted March 1, 2007 I think it's a much better photo without the sepia tone, the whiter version you've submitted is a big improvement in terms of the overall feel, but I'm not sure why you got rid of the cross. That cross was a great part of the photo. Getting rid of the cross makes our eye much more conscious of the grating at her feet, which is distracting in your new version. I'd keep the cross and lose the sepia and I think you've got a beautiful and unique bridal photo. Link to comment
anthonyd 0 Posted March 1, 2007 You also changed it to B&W. So I did the same to the original with the cross and it looked better that way. I think it looks the best in B&W and without the cross. Nice edit! When I was playing with it, I found that just a hint of diffuse glow looked nice also. Not needed, but I thought I'd mention it. Well done, Anthony Link to comment
uaguy 0 Posted March 1, 2007 Thank you very much for all your comments, i really appreciate it. Anyway I have about a week to think it over. I like the cross version better, yeah I might need just to crop in the right way. Thank you again. Greetings from Ukraine. Link to comment
fmcm38 0 Posted March 17, 2007 Great photo - I didn't interpret the window as a "cross" - I saw the whole shot as a metaphor for opening a window to a new life - too heady? sorry! It is still a beautiful shot just the way it is Link to comment
