very nice expression...the crop is good to focus on the expression...this photo is current actuality for me since my daughter is in the same teeth state...:-)...did you try a bit more contrast or sharpenning ?

Thanks for your comments. Yes, I did already increase contrast and a tad sharpness from the original, but was careful not to completely blow out the background. I'm also a little more careful now-a-days with the sharpening, as it becomes very obvious in print. Somethings look really good to the eye on the monitor may look over exaggerated on print!
