mbranciforte 0 Posted February 22, 2007 Hi Noel. Great shot. I like the colour desturation of the background and how it helps eccentuate the subject. There is something a little unnatural about her pose, but that certainly seems to be a trait of model photography anyway...so disregard that as a criticism, just an observation and comment. Keep up the good work! Cheers, Michael Link to comment

Coastie 0 Posted February 23, 2007 Nice shot and I love the pose. However, I'm a fan of b&w so I like you other version best. Congrats on a great capture. ~jerry Link to comment
barnard 0 Posted February 23, 2007 Hi Noel, Personally I think your shot rocks, when it comes to posing models a small change of hand position, can change a look. But for every person who suggests a pose is not natural there is an art director or publisher who thinks it works. I find photo.net comments to always be on the edge, as you must consider the source. Did the photographer who made a comment have experience with fashion, models or portraiture or just someone who shoots lizards and the like? As for team and myself we think you nailed a great photo. While rules suggest that the subject should be facing into the shot, your shot works. High fashion dresses with out of character stances can make for dramatic composition. Best of luck, keep it up, if ever in Boston or New York give me a shout! Dan Link to comment
