Graphically speaking, the emphasis is on the gabled structure with strong emphasis through shape contrast, and placement though the motif is hanging there between two golden means, thus considered neither ' sharpened ' nor leveled. The visual effect is then indicative of indetermination.

 

Shape contrast between the structure characterized by a formal triangle and rectangular shapes which is considered boring and formal and the fuzzy engulfing vegetation which has produced tension and visual pressure uneasy for the eyes to

look at is splendid leading to balance specially since the proportions of theses two are 30%-70%.

 

The indetermination of the placement as mentioned before is rectified by two spaces on the upper and lower 1/3. The viewer can't clearly determine whether to look at the sky with strong tonal contrast or the mirror-like expanse of the lake in the foreground. It's obvious the photographer has been enticed by the both spaces equally at the same time. While the graphic sky with strong lines is very eye-catching. The completion with the lake is an uneasy visual experience as the alternation between two points undermines a chance for the viewer to settle down and grasp the tranquility of the place if any.

 

You could tilt a little higher to transfer visual importance either to the sky or to the lake. The indetermination is considered problematic in most cases ( Gestalt principle of unity ).

 

The tonal range is wide and the tonal contrast is appropriate. Next time tilt the camera higher or lower to sharpen the focus on the motif. Don't let the viewer be caught in an indecisive visual state, for human's natural perception as coherently and impartially as possible.
