mmmee 0 Posted March 21, 2007 Excellent use of 'dead' space and active space to show us the fog. I am lost! This photo has some minimal characteristics and some action characteristics. I makes me stay and watch to see if the fog will let up and let me see the island. Very dynamic photo. Have you entered any of you photos in the Spider awards? Hmmmmmmmm not sure if they are totally film or if digital is allowed. I must check that. Link to comment

ymages 0 Posted November 1, 2007 it remembers me my favorites paintings form Song period in China, best painting ever made for me Link to comment
bradkim 8 Posted November 1, 2007 Erick, it is wonderful to know that you like the paintings from Song dynasty era. They are my favorites, too. Although I had studied/practiced western paintings when I was a boy, those paintings from Song period had made me keep great respect for traditional b/w oriental paintings. Link to comment
ymages 0 Posted November 1, 2007 I am french and studied art in Toulouse, but I had never a shock like in front of Fan Kuan or Kuo Shi (i am sorry I dont know how you write it and my english is not good) the feeling they had in front of nature is totally hidden and lost for us ... we are blind , Lao Tse is my master Link to comment
bradkim 8 Posted November 1, 2007 I think Kuo Shi is also spelled as Guo Xi. I am from South Korea originally and can not speak Chinese, but now learning Beginner's Chinese (Mandarin) because I want to travel/photograph in China. Link to comment
