iliafarniev 13 Posted February 21, 2007 Bojana... As a form of free expression this might be OK in some circles. As for me, I do recomend to search better emotional balance. Besides, ugliness dont sell. Link to comment
iliafarniev 13 Posted February 22, 2007 Maybe I took a bit to hard on you and this Salt and Papper thing last night. Please accept the apology from an old man. Maybe weather was not just right or something.. Haw would you like to allow me some extra freedom of comments on your photos in order to help your progress? The thing is that much of your works does look kind of "on the safe side of town" IMO while I see the creative potential which have been camouflaged by common acceptance of your work. IMO it is not a ugly or pretty what make a good image, it is a true human achievement of universal value, the true beauty for example. I see the Salt and Pepper image as outcry for help. Here are the offerings of a day: 1. The old greeks saw the purpose of art in catharsis. 2. Have you seen "Fight Club" film? 3. There is a cultural tradition called "straight edge", a Punk. Hope to hear from you. Kind regards. Ilia. Link to comment
iliafarniev 13 Posted February 26, 2007 Why did you put grow in quote marks? If you are satisfied with your photography what is the point in bringing it up here on PN and submit to critique? Link to comment
