Oh, wow. This is too good.

Took a trip to NYC in August 2001 to take some street photos Came

upon this homeless man sleeping in front of an enlarged "New Yorker

Magazine" cover that depicted the good life.

if I remember correctly, this is in front of Saks Fifth Avenue when they were doing the New Yorker crossover with the mannequins instead of cartoons.

 

Great shot. Much more ironic knowing it is in front of Saks.

Great reportage shot. This situation in the 5th Avenue makes us all think that something is wrong out there.

Great contrasts, subject and colour as well.

Nice juxtaposition. I don't think you needed to color on area or remove color from so much of it though. But it certainly does define what you are juxtaposing.
