this double exposure is taken on 6x6 plastic camera with easy focus

free lens. Aperature 11, film ISO 100. Developed normally by E-6

process - no cross. This is just simple scan with minor tonality and

levels correction. Two following frames. enyoy :)

i think this is a very potent accident. it would almost be more to your benefit to have these two frames as separate images in order to be able to control their crossing a bit more. I am a propoonent of photoshop for meaningful alterations, so my instinct says to blend the images. In other words, have the line of the splice happen in the geometry of the frame so that you dont notice it.

What you could also do is have this be a two image set. So crop out the part that is double exposed and just have two images next to one another. I think it may even work better, because the meaning in this shot is the relation of the geometry and not its overlay.
