jay sturdevant 0 Posted February 12, 2007 I normally only hang painted velvet pictures of tigers and Elvis on my wall, but i would love to have this, perfect! Link to comment
jay sturdevant 0 Posted February 12, 2007 Nothing more to say, I'm breathless. i bow to your talent, some day i hope to be as great a photographer as you Link to comment
jay sturdevant 0 Posted February 12, 2007 Hey guys, I thought we had an agreement about the ratings, where are the 6's? I kept up my end of the bargain Link to comment
jay sturdevant 0 Posted February 12, 2007 What an incredibly moving picture, my wife and i cried when we saw the shark and said a prayer for the flamingo. Thank you Link to comment
jay sturdevant 0 Posted February 12, 2007 This photo has everything! Beautiful sunset, huge moon, a bird, and a silhouetted camel! It all seems too good to be true, but after reading everyone else's praise I know it must be. Congratulations you have done it again. Link to comment
jay sturdevant 0 Posted February 12, 2007 and I'm ready to bask in your praise. Pretty impressive I know, some people say it is too perfect to be real, but they just don't understand photography and how to take a reel good picture. Please don't try to tell me this scene couldn't have happened because you weren't there and I was Link to comment
dee 14 0 Posted February 12, 2007 Great sense of humor! This has got to be the greatest photo to ever be posted on PN!!! 10/10!!! Link to comment
hilander 0 Posted February 12, 2007 Too bad you can't rate a 10/10, cause that's what this one should receive! Link to comment
ian green 1 Posted February 13, 2007 how do you happen to miss the lens in your details?anyway i know it should be the famous Sigma CZ 5-5000/1.1 DWSM Link to comment
robert x 0 Posted February 13, 2007 Hmm- you won't let us rate this ? That's a shame I am sure you would appear on the TRP in short order. I have a sneaking suspicion that this might have been constructed in PS but it has been done so well that it is impossible to say for sure. Excellent work. Link to comment
luke_neher 0 Posted February 13, 2007 Your post processing is obviously very good but i think the image sufferes from an inherent lack of sharpness in your lens. Also your colour are coming out to orange because you didnt set the balance to flamingo. 4/7 Link to comment
luminous world 0 Posted February 13, 2007 I'm so nauseated by the prevalence of real, genuine 'good but not overly produced and processed' shots in the less popular galleries and people's knee-jerk non-reactions to them. I see this type of scene every day on my way to work and see nothing noteworthy about it. Link to comment
HuskyMason1 18 Posted February 13, 2007 great PS skills! did you actually use a camera? 7/7...be sure to rate mine too. regards, Mike Link to comment
stephen hazelton 3 Posted February 13, 2007 Obviously not a very good shot as it has no lightning or homeless people in it! Equipment is important, too. It needs to be taken on a Large Format Digital Leica to be really really good. Link to comment
aaronp 0 Posted February 13, 2007 Beautiful photo, Jay. I only hope that one day I can afford to buy a nice camera and travel some to get pics like this. 7/7 all the way. cheers! Link to comment
younes 0 Posted February 13, 2007 Amid all these praises, I am going to go against the grain and offer some criticism. I think the bird is a bit too central. Putting it slightly to the right would certainly improve your composition and make this a true masterpiece. Nice try though. Link to comment
alecee 0 Posted December 24, 2007 Humorous but why spoil your lovely portfolio with something like this. You do good work Jay. Delete this. Link to comment
