atkphotoworks 0 Posted February 12, 2007 Still a winning image Linda! Adds a sense of age to it though. Link to comment
tgood 0 Posted February 12, 2007 Linda, there's a dramatic change going from the color to this Sepia version. Both are superb. Personally, though, I like the color version better. There just seems to be so much color, and you'd never guess that by looking at the Sepia version. I also like the color change that takes place in the facial hair, in the color version. But that's just a matter of taste. This is an outstanding photo. Link to comment
armindo_lopes 1 Posted February 12, 2007 Really classic style with the sepia tones. I like better this version. The tones seem more well balanced in this version. Smoother to the eye than the color version more contrasting. Link to comment
kslonaker 0 Posted February 13, 2007 I do love this version, Linda. Has a timeless look to it. Could have been taken this week or 80 years ago. Very nice!! Link to comment
carsten_ranke 0 Posted February 18, 2007 With a slight levels change for the highlights I am torn between this and the color version Link to comment
susan stone 0 Posted February 27, 2007 My vote's in for the sepia version, it has that wonderful "old time" feel to it and is a very classic looking portraiture style. Very interesting looking fellow, has a worldly look to him and maybe a little pensive. I also think Carsten's adjustment helped with the exposure. Good on ya girl. Link to comment
