Nobody has commented yet on the unnaturally large pupils? I, for one, have never seen such huge ones before, even after coming into light from total darkness. This probably explains, at least in part, that strange feeling emanating from this photo.

That eye is really spooky! I'm curious, you certainly don't have to share with us how you did this, but could we see the original from the camera? I'd be really interested to see what shot this originated from, to see what you started out with.
