scott_stephenson 0 Posted May 29, 2002 This barn near Woodstock, VT has probably been photographed hundreds of times. When I took this picture, I was looking for a slightly different perspective. So I chose to photograph it through some tall plants in the foreground. Is this too distracting? Perhaps I should have positioned myself so that the plants were in the photograph, but more towards the bottom; giving a clearer picture of the barn. Link to comment
joey 0 Posted May 30, 2002 I think you're on the right track. The plants covering the barn are rather distracting, but if you had gotten up higher to put the plants under the barn, the composition would have been much more pleasing. Link to comment
matthys_de_kock 0 Posted May 30, 2002 I must agree with what's been said. I somehow don't find the setting particularly attractive, something you'd obviously look for in a picture like this. Maybe on a misty morning.. Link to comment
