elaine_roberts1 0 Posted February 10, 2007 What a great shot, very dramatic and moody. Translates well in black and white. Perhaps a touch more contrast would crispen it up? Link to comment
Link to comment
carsten_ranke 0 Posted February 10, 2007 The radial clouds in the sky and the foreground lines match nicely, flowing to the tower. Well composed, and spot-on tones (I would not change the contrast) Link to comment
my 0 Posted February 11, 2007 Bellisima!. Saludos Link to comment
teresa.zafon 0 Posted February 11, 2007 Composicion y luz excelentes. Link to comment
Un abrazo Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted February 12, 2007 Interesting mood created by the sky diagonal form, brings tension, and looks really ominous with the black BG.all this vs. the round constraction that symbolize the history of its existence under that sky. Very nice BW, Alberto. Link to comment
Un cordial saludo Link to comment
Link to comment
susanbilbao 0 Posted February 16, 2007 Muy bien, Alberto.... Beso! Link to comment
abintraphoto 0 Posted March 1, 2007 Well it is muy muy bien Alberto but you'll get no besos from me .... My Spanish is getting better - maybe not a good thing - (-; ... My only suggestion would be to acquire the Nikon *chain saw adapter* and remove those 2 poles next time .... smile. Tell me Amigo - I'm thinking about getting this 12-24 Tokina lens - do you like it or ? Link to comment
Link to comment
alberto.conde 0 Posted March 1, 2007 Regarding the chain saw adapter I'm seriously considering adding one to my bag. Perhaps, as well, a bulldozer... Do you think Adorama stock them? And my advice for the Tokina lens is to rush to the nearest merchant and get one. Do it fast! Link to comment
abintraphoto 0 Posted March 2, 2007 Alberto now you're just being silly - there is no *Nikon Bulldozer Adapter* .......... it only comes in a Canon mount. (-; Link to comment
henrimanguy 0 Posted March 3, 2007 Superb sky and great black & white tones. About the composition, what do you think to put the camera closer to the tower and let less of this empty foreground ? Link to comment
alberto.conde 0 Posted March 4, 2007 Thanks Ken and Henry. To Ken I have to thanks this new piece of advice. I might have to reconsider my faithful attachment to Nikon.... You wouldn't believe the incredible amount of times when I could have used the bulldozer adapter in my castle shoots! I would have left my country with serious electricity shortages, great blank chunks of territoy in terms of moblie telephones or TV coverage, and demolished a fair amount of modern architecture... I would have become Public Enemy nr 1!To Henry, this is just a personal opinion but the sand lines and shadows sort of converge towards the castle as the clouds do... Link to comment
colin carron 58,916 Posted March 8, 2007 Possibly the only reason to change to Canon is the Bulldozer attachment which fits neatly into the hotshoe. Battery life is reduced though. Wonderful sky here, Alberto, and a nice slanting light across the foreground. Link to comment
alberto.conde 0 Posted March 8, 2007 I appreciate your visit! Let me know some more technical details about the Canon Bulldozer... :-)I am considering to swap my Contax G1 rangefinder for a MF Mamiya 645 1000 S with the three lenses (wide, normal and tele). What's your opinion? Link to comment
