starvy 7 Posted December 16, 2009 nikolai, greetings! this is indeed a fine piece of composition. the tonality greatly adds to the mood. there is no happiness in the face of the subjects. they are taking part in the everday mundane, perhaos a journey to work, waiting around for the train, killing time, all part of the slow process of getting old. it feels slow and languid. what movement is there is held up frozen in still frame. Saadsalem 74 Posted June 6, 2016 I see a man walking a cross a railway, with a background and some other six people, I just imagined I'd removes everything and just keep the man and the railway, I guess the greatness of this shot would not lessened by a single degree.
