arash khoshghadam 0 Posted February 17, 2007 The pleasant visual effect can be ascribed to the sheer imbalance making me forget my question about the title he has picked for this particular shot. The perceived physical weigh on the right is the single motif that absorbs the lion's share of the visual importance. The brevity of elements lends itself to directness of interpretation: this is a functional style photography as inspired by Bauhaus school founded by Walter Gropius and a number of renowned German art teachers with the goal of welding crude functionality with aestheticism. Sean's insight of form and shape has made him shoot a mundane subject characterized by pertinaciousness in a very dynamic way that attracts attention instantly. most of the geometric shapes in the blur are diagonals rather than horizontal or vertical forms. The element of texture also plays an important gravitating role in this shotThe unity of visual arrangement is great, and singleness of the motif is unflinchingly attractive. Brevity is definitely observed albeit with exaggeration testifying to this fact that Sean has quite awaringly stayed away from complexity to augment the visual importance of the motif.
