Just a few constructive comments: While taking these photos, you might want to consider getting perpendicular to the subject instead of shooting from an angle. Two reasons for that: First the woodwork will come out straight and the entire frame would have a better DoF getting a sharper iage. Second, you can avoid having the confusing shadow of the dog on the wall (or at least have more control over how it looks). Hope the comments were useful. Thanks for sharing.
