jeverz 0 Posted March 31, 2007 Hello Omar, Very nice macro. I have as you have seen both sigma 50mm and canon 60 mm macro. I have dropped the sigma lens and it was broken, thats why i bought another lens, and for a change; the canon. They both are different. The canon is maybe a bit sharper. But i liked the colors or how do you call it, bouquet? from the sigma more.I think i would choose the sigma. If you like not too bright colors you better take the canon. They both are good but different. I also have the sigma 150mm which i like a lot for macro. But its heavy and i usually dont photograph the ladybugs with it, but use it more for butterflies, bees etc. when you cant come too close. Hope this has helped you. Maybe you can try out both lenses in the shop where you buy it. Best regards. Link to comment
