Interesting phenomena; I can not tell if this is taken straight or downwards. My guess is straight and that middle sector is not mist covered hills and valley, but just clouds... Yes, I agree, it must be a magical illusion... for me it's a calm, but very strong picture and a great composition. Amicalement, Alexandra

The tower was built in the 1800s as part of a reservoir scheme. The

hills in the background are part of the Forest of Bowland.
