wonderful image, excellent composition. He knows all the answers does not hem yet he still poses questions, still looks at a loneliness that will remain unbroken. He lives his life with courage and holds the ray of hope dear, still not taking his guard off to what he knows is real. It is amazing what you can say in such a simple, seemingly serene manner. Expressive and moving.

Super! Si eu am ochit locul si exact unghiul asta, dar din motive tehnice nu am putut scoate un DOF asa bun ca al tau. Foarte bine prinsa scena, perfect si titlul. Bravo!

Everyday that goes by, I understand that I know very little about photography. One of the very few that I know is, that a main subject should be visually clear from it's background unless if it is of an abstract subject.

If for instance this photo was in colour the dog was red and the bench was green, then the photo could be a success in the contrast of the colours. Again it would not have a good balance. In the two subjects here (bench, dog) we have them both in the right side of the photo (not meaning the correct).

What I read about one month ago, was that a correct composition of a photo has a balance in the subjects positioned in a frame like if they were in balance on a teedle taddle (the balance game). So the ideal position of the dog would be in the left side of the frame.

Again...when uncropped. Because when you crop, as I see it right now, (unless you dont have enought focal length of the lens), you havent taken a good photo, as the subjects were not in the ideal (as to say) position.

Nevertheless, I like the b/w tones of this photo, along with the face expression of the dog. I dont rate it, just wanted to say something useful (if it was) about it, today.

Thanks for sharing :-)
