my work 0 Posted February 7, 2007 When lighting anything, use one key light. As long as we have one sun, one key light will feel most natural. Use a large reflector as a fill. What you are trying to achieve is the illusion of a three dimensional image on the screen or the flat print surface. Try to not think of the light as a softbox or a fresnel light. Think of them as a window and the sun with a wall filling in the shadows. When you look through the camera and it "feels" like sunlight or a natural window, you've got it. Hope this helps.
