brett_cole 0 Posted April 20, 2002 An old stomping ground of mine. One of the most amazing natural areas anywhere! Link to comment
peter_jakobs1 0 Posted May 28, 2002 interesting picture, but somehow lacks some tension to my eye. It would either require a bit of non-green color or a different focus point than the middle ground. Maybe you could have focussed the dead tree in the foreground to give it some depth. Link to comment
gk photography 0 Posted July 16, 2002 I think you're on to something here. There's too much going on in the foreground, but you've got the right idea. Did you shoot several different images of this sequence, moving both closer and farther away? It might be interesting to compare those. Basically, I feel as if the bridge and the river lack the prominence they deserve, and too much attention is give to the tree. But as I said, I think you're on the right track. This is a promising shot. Link to comment
jim_ives 0 Posted October 25, 2002 I like this one! Reminds me of something out of Load of the Rings! Link to comment
mclaine 0 Posted January 25, 2003 I think it could sustain a crop of the top 1/4, and I'm not too keen on the broken tree. I realise it is an important framing element, it's just a shame that it's broken. I also wanted to thank you for the comment and stitch of my Binalong Bay image, which I have pulled down already. Your stitch gave a taste of what I'll be attempting when I return there. Much appreciated. Cheers, Link to comment
